To live healthy, you must eat healthy. But eating healthy does not have to be boring and tasteless. To make healthy eating enjoyable– simply understand what eating healthy consists of.
The first important component of nutrition is the carbohydrate. Carbohydrates are favored by human beings because they are more complex molecular sugar chains and take longer to break down. However, to maintain a healthy diet and increase weight loss, a large consumption of carbohydrates isn’t a good idea. It is always important to consume most of your daily carbohydrate intake in the morning, and keep the intake at a low for the rest of the day.
The next important component of nutrition is the protein. Simple proteins, called monomers, are used to create complicated proteins, called polymers, which build and repair tissue. Proteins are important to consume if you are trying to get more toned or build muscle. To gain muscle, it is generally recommended that you consume a gram of protein per pound that you weight (e.g if you weight 130 pounds, consume 130 grams of protein per day).
Fat is a nutrient, that many believe must be avoided at all costs. But it is crucial for normal body function and without it we could not live. Not only does fat supply us with energy, it also makes it possible for other nutrients to do their jobs. Some fats that you should avoid are: saturated fats and trans fats. On the other hand, mono-saturated fats (found in olive oil) are healthy fats that you should not be worried to consume.
